Certis Solutions is seeking a qualified Sr. Geotechnical Engineer – Levee Specialist with the following background:

Must Have Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (specialization in Geotechnical Engineering).
• Master's or Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering (or Geological Engineering), with a Bachelor's in Engineering or Geology.
• 14+ years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License in CA.
• Experience in mentoring and supervising staff.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Manage multiple clients, contracts, and projects concurrently.
• Conduct geotechnical engineering analyses, studies, and calculations.
• Prepare technical engineering reports.
• Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels.
• Lead, mentor, and supervise engineers and employees.
• Review technical reports, construction observation reports, and engineering calculations.
• Support business development and marketing activities.
• Ensure adherence to quality assurance and health and safety policies.
• Fulfill assigned duties from supervisors.

Preferences

• Familiarity with USACE design criteria and Urban Levee Design Criteria.
• Background in levee design and construction.
• Knowledge of classical geotechnical engineering principles.

Pay Range: $125,000 – $185,000 annually
