Description

Certis Solutions is seeking a qualified Mid-Level Wildlife Biologist to work in the Folsom, CA location and work on projects in the Sacramento and Bay areas.


Pay Range: 33.65 – 55.29/hr


Must Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, herpetology, wildlife, ecology, environmental science, or another relevant natural resource field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, specifically with field identification of California's plants and animals.
  • Experience holding or working under Endangered species 10(a)(1)(A) permits for California tiger salamander, California red-legged frog, or other species is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated expertise in terrestrial and aquatic habitat surveys, threatened/endangered species surveys, plant identification, wetland delineations, stream assessments, and regulatory coordination/permitting.
  • Proven field experience with California flora and fauna.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) and familiarity with GIS and GPS mapping tools.
