Description

Certis Solutions is seeking a qualified Mid-Level Wildlife Biologist in the San Ramon area to work on projects in the San Francisco and surrounding Bay areas.


Pay Range: $38-60/hr


Must Have Qualifications

  • Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, herpetology, wildlife, ecology, environmental science, or a related natural resource field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in field identification of flora and fauna native to California.
  • Experience with Endangered species 10(a)(1)(A) permits, especially with the California tiger salamander and/or California red-legged frog, is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting terrestrial/aquatic habitat surveys, endangered species surveys, plant identification, wetland delineations, stream assessments, and regulatory permitting.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel, along with GIS and GPS mapping technologies.
