Description

Certis Solutions is seeking a qualified Wetland Permitting Specialist & Project Manager to work in the Folsom, CA office for projects in the Northern California and San Francisco Bay Area.


Pay Range: $52.88 – 72.12/hr


Must Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in regulatory permitting within California.
  • Proficient in project management and CEQA project support.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong multitasking skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of state and federal environmental regulations.
  • Excellent skills in written and verbal communication.

  • Project Management: Oversee project tasks from start to finish, including proposals, impact analysis, mitigation assessments, and coordination with clients, agencies, and staff.
  • Permitting: Manage all aspects of regulatory permitting, from project review and impact analysis to mitigation proposals and securing permits/authorizations.
  • CEQA Documentation: Support the preparation of CEQA documents and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Coordination: Work with staff to procure necessary environmental assessments, GIS data, and mitigation designs, ensuring project implementation and compliance.
  • Impact Assessments: Assess potential environmental impacts of projects and develop suitable mitigation strategies.
  • Project Delivery: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Perform technical editing and QA/QC to maintain project alignment with regulatory compliance and company standards.
  • Business Development: Support client retention and new business development, respond to RFPs, and manage bid presentations.
