Quality Control Manager

Certis Solutions is seeking a Quality Control Manager for a US Army Corps of Engineers project at an Air Force base in the Sacramento Area. This person will be responsible for overall management of CQC. This position will report directly to the Project Manager. Project is 9 months in duration, with the potential for follow-on work.

Must Have Qualifications

·       5+ years heavy civil experience, paving experience a plus

·       Must have USACE project experience

·       Excellent RMS skills (3.0)

·       USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors 

·       College degree

Certis Solutions is seeking a qualified QSP / Stormwater Professional with the following background:

Must Have Qualifications

–       Qualified Stormwater Practitioner (QSP) OR Qualified Stormwater Plan Developer (QSD)

– 2+ years SWPPP experience

–       Performing routine and storm event inspections and sampling at construction facilities

–       Ability/desire to drive to project sites

–       Ability to work from home (writing reports)

–      40-70% travel to job sites in the Sierra foothills, around Jamestown

  • Federal Project ( USACE, NAVFAC) background
  • Experience as a QCM, Site Super, and SSHO preferred
  • Quality Control Management (QCM) Certificate
  • EM385-1 and first Aid Certifications 
  • familiar with Government projects and 3-phases of inspections for quality control
