Project Engineer

Certis Solutions is seeking a qualified Project Engineer with the following background:

Must Have Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer on Civil Construction projects
  • Must be self-directed with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be able to work with limited supervision.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards, and an in-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units.
  • The following safety training is preferred, but not mandatory. Company will provide additional training, if necessary.
  • 40 Hour HAZWOPER training
  • Competent Person Safety Training
  • 8-Hour Supervisory Training
  • 30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training
  • First Aid and CPR

  • Perform Project specific engineering support, including:
  • Preparing project submittals.
  • Maintaining project record documents.
  • Perform technical review of contract plans and specifications.
  • Provide oversight and documentation related to project quality control in accordance with the contract plans, specifications, and company policies and procedures.
  • Preparing daily construction reports and progress tracking.
  • Manage, interpret, and perform site surveying.
  • Assist with the management of subcontractors.
  • Assist with the procurement or rental of equipment and materials.
  • Assist Project Manager with project daily cost reporting and tracking.
  • Perform Office engineering support, including:
  • Assist in the development of project cost estimates, proposals, and material take-offs.

    Senior Engineering Project Manager

    Certis Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Engineer OR Geologist to join our expert team to manage projects and mentor junior staff members. If you have 10+ years of experience in engineering or geology and ideally 5 of those years with exposure to federal projects, we want to hear from you. Join the team and support exciting projects with major utilities, airlines, food processors, and government clients with a wide range of environmental services.

    Pay Range: $100-130K/year

    Must Haves:

    • 5-10+ years of experience in engineering or geology
    • Exposure to Federal projects, ideally, 5 years (consideration will be given to those with less).

    • Professional licensures in relevant fields are highly desirable.

    Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) – Dallas, TX

    Certis Solutions is seeking Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) with the following background in Dallas, TX:

    Must-Have Qualifications

    • Experience: 2-5+ years in construction inspection, with a strong focus on Structural Steel and Framing.
    • Education: An Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Engineering Technology is preferred, but a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
    • Certifications: A Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is a must, along with ICC certifications in areas like Reinforced Concrete, Structural Masonry, and more. American Welding Society (AWS) and ASNT Level II certifications are also highly valued. ACI certification in Concrete Field Testing or Concrete Strength Testing is a plus.
    • Licensing: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
