Certis Solutions is hiring a career path minded Soil Technician in the North Bay to support solid waste, mining, civil infrastructure, and environmental remediation projects. This full-time, long term role involves field testing, sampling, and documentation at various active job sites across the western states. All travel expenses are covered for trips of 1-2+ months at a time throughout the 2025 field work season and beyond with opportunities for mentorship and promotion.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, geology, or a related field
  • Eligible to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Comfortable with travel and extended fieldwork
  • Able to lift up to 50 pounds and pass a pre-employment physical & drug screening

Environmental Technician

Certis Solutions is hiring several Environmental/Construction Technicians for the 2025 season of environmental and civil construction projects for remediation, restoration, and infrastructure across California. This is a full-time, contract role, lasting 3-4+ months, with the potential for future opportunities based on performance.

Pay Range: $22-25+ (Some hours would be prevailing wage)

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Able to pass thorough pre-employment background check to access a military base
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (8-Hour refresher if applicable)
  • Must have steel toe boots and other required PPE
  • Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • Willingness to travel to different job sites throughout the region.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
