Certis Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Administrative/Accounting Assistant to support operations in a manufacturing and construction environment. This is a junior-level role with the flexibility for part time or full time depending on experience. The ideal candidate will cross-train in accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and labor compliance, contributing to the smooth operation of the administrative and accounting functions.
Pay Range: $25-30/hr
Responsibilities
- Support accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, including data entry, invoice tracking, and payment processing.
- Assist with labor compliance tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and adherence to company and regulatory requirements.
- Perform administrative tasks to support the accounting teams.
- Learn and utilize company-specific software, Deltek Computerease, with provided training, to maintain accurate financial records
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate reporting and compliance.
Requirements
- Experience in administrative or accounting roles, with proficiency in Excel, QuickBooks, or similar tools preferred
- Willingness to learn and cross-train across accounts receivable, accounts payable, and labor compliance functions.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to take initiative, adapt, and grow within the role.
