As a Field Hygienist/Environmental Technician (CSST), you’ll conduct asbestos, lead, and mold surveys, manage data compilation, and assist with report drafting for San Francisco Bay Area projects out of the Pleasant Hill office. Pay Range: $60-75K annually

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct asbestos, lead, mold, and indoor air quality surveys, including sampling and reporting.
  • Provide site oversight and coordination during construction and abatement activities.
  • Perform perimeter air testing during abatement projects.
  • Conduct stormwater, groundwater, and soil sampling, as well as health and safety inspections.
  • Manage hazardous materials reporting and regulatory compliance tasks.

Qualifications

  • AA or BS in Environmental Sciences, Industrial Hygiene, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Certified Site Surveillance Technician (CSST) certification required.
  • Valid CA Class C driver’s license and ability to meet physical demands of fieldwork.
  • Proficiency in software like Excel, Word, AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of Cal/OSHA, EPA standards, and relevant regulatory codes.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certificate and experience with lead paint sampling/abatement are a plus.

Certis Solutions is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic with the following qualifications:

Diesel Mechanic – Heavy Equipment
Location: Between Boynton Beach and Fort Pierce/Port St. Lucie, Florida
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work based on project requirements.

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic with 3-5+ years of experience specializing in heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and hydraulic systems. This position requires light regional travel and occasional weekend work as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and other components on heavy equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment including oil changes, brake adjustments, and inspections.
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform necessary repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of service and repairs performed.
  • Ensure all machinery operates in compliance with safety standards.
  • Travel to job sites as needed to provide on-site support for field repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with project teams to minimize equipment downtime and support operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic, with a focus on heavy equipment.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and related components.
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and repair methods for heavy machinery.
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license 
  • Willingness to travel for work within the region and work occasional weekends as projects demand.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
