Certis Solutions is seeking a skilled Environmental Field Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate must have CSST certification and at least 3 years of industry experience. This role involves conducting field assessments, industrial environmental sampling, and site monitoring across various locations, with primary projects based in Orange County. The position requires occasional travel in the Western United States.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct environmental field investigations, including hazardous material assessments (asbestos, lead, mold, etc.).
- Perform site inspections and data collection to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Work on project sites primarily located in Orange County, CA, with additional assignments across San Diego, Santa Barbara, the Bay Area, Oregon, Seattle, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.
- Travel 2-3 times annually for projects lasting approximately 3-5 days.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports related to site assessments.
- Collaborate with team members and clients to deliver high-quality environmental services.
Requirements:
- CSST certification and 3 years or more of relevant experience
- HAZWOPER 40 certification is a plus.
- Experience in environmental consulting, hazardous material assessments, or related fields.
- Willingness to travel occasionally and assist employees stationed in different regions.
- Ability to use a personal vehicle for work; gas and mileage reimbursement provided (no gas card).
Compensation: $35-$40/hr (based on experience and certifications)
