Certis Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee the final segment of a critical large scale sewer project in the Morgan Hill, CA area. The Construction Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of the project are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all design specifications and regulatory requirements.
Salary Range: $100,000 – $150,000 (Depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day construction management of the sewer relief trunk project, including traditional and trenchless construction methods.
- Conduct field observations to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards, environmental regulations, and stakeholder requirements.
- Coordinate and lead meetings with contractors and end clients, and other stakeholders.
- Manage project schedules and ensure timely completion of each construction phase.
- Ensure all construction work adheres to detailed project descriptions and preliminary designs.
- Handle change management, addressing scope changes or unforeseen challenges, and communicate these effectively to all parties.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the project team and stakeholders, including utility owners, local governments, and regulatory agencies.
- Support the preparation of environmental service documents and project deliverables.
What You’ll Need:
- At least 7-10+ years of experience managing complex construction projects, with a focus on water/wastewater infrastructure.
- Proven expertise in managing sewer trunk or similar large-scale utility projects, particularly those involving both traditional and trenchless construction methods.
- Background in general contracting, engineering, and construction management, with specific experience in large, multi-phase infrastructure projects.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- CCM or PE certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- A valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
