Certis Solutions is seeking a Senior Project Manager with civil/earthwork/site remediation construction management experience to oversee projects in California and the U.S. Responsibilities include planning, execution, and completion of projects such as ecosystem restoration, soil excavation, levee repair, and underground utility installation. The Project Manager will work with contractors, suppliers, and supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.

Key duties involve pre-award planning, bid preparation, contract negotiations, staffing, logistics, scheduling, budget management, and project close-out. The Project Manager will lead teams, optimize performance, and communicate with stakeholders, supporting company goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize performance on large environmental/civil projects.
• Manage estimates, budgets, and schedules.
• Ensure compliance with legal regulations, safety codes, and project requirements.
• Track project progress, maintain client relationships, and provide status updates.
• Oversee quality control and enforce safety regulations on-site.
• Participate in site walks, bid generation, and cost proposals.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or sciences preferred.
• 15+ years of experience on large environmental/civil projects, with 10+ years in project management.
• Experience with Federal agencies (USACE, USEPA) and knowledge of relevant regulations.
• Valid driver’s license and 40-hour HAZWOPER certification.

PREFERRED

• OSHA 30-hour training, CQM, HAZWOPER Supervisor Training, RMS, and experience with Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
