Description

Certis Solutions is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to oversee safety inspections, employee training, and hazard mitigation across multiple project sites. This role offers a long-term opportunity, a company vehicle, and competitive compensation. The Construction Safety Manager reports directly to the Safety and Risk Director and collaborates closely with project teams to promote a strong safety culture.

Pay Range: $150,000 – 220,000 Depending on Experience

Top Skills/Key Job Responsibilities

  • Build strong working relationships with field teams to foster safety awareness and consistency.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and training on safety practices and culture.
  • Conduct daily site evaluations to identify and mitigate hazards.
  • Enforce company safety policies through on-site collaboration with supervisors and employees.
  • Lead safety training sessions and assist with annual safety requirements.
  • Review and maintain safety documentation, including incident reports and inspections.
  • Investigate and document incidents, accidents, and near-misses.
  • Manage and support workers’ compensation and liability claims.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive safety records and reports.


Preferences

  • Experience in civil construction.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and managing safety programs.
  • Certified Health and Safety Technician (CHST) certification or ability to obtain within one year.
  • Proven experience working with union and salaried personnel.
