Certis Solutions is seeking a qualified Quality Control Manager (QCM) for an exciting federal project in Asheville, NC. This role will focus on the renovation and operation of a potable water treatment plant, operating 24/7 to maintain compliance with stringent water quality standards.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3+ years of quality control experience in construction or industrial settings
• Prior experience with water treatment plants highly desired
• Federal/USACE project experience required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Current CQM certification (USACE preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Top Skills / Key Job Responsibilities:

• Quality Control Compliance: Ensure all work adheres to USACE quality standards and project specifications.
• Daily Inspections & Documentation: Conduct regular quality inspections, track construction progress, and document compliance with federal standards and project requirements.
• Testing & Validation: Coordinate with field teams to conduct required tests, validate materials, and ensure all project phases meet quality standards.
• Issue Identification & Resolution: Identify potential quality issues early, document and communicate them with the project team, and work proactively to resolve them.
• Reporting & Communication: Provide daily and weekly quality control reports, attend all project meetings, and communicate with project management and USACE representatives as required.
