The position is focused on accurately estimating costs, managing specialized projects, and ensuring the successful execution of construction initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Estimating:
  • Review project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates.
  • Perform material takeoffs, labor estimates, and cost analysis using estimating software and tools.
  • Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers to ensure comprehensive project pricing.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project stakeholders to resolve discrepancies or clarify project scope.
  • Present cost estimates and proposals to internal teams and clients.
2. Special Projects Management:
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of special construction projects, ensuring they meet budget, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and vendors for assigned projects.
  • Coordinate and manage resources, including materials, labor, and equipment, to meet project demands.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for stakeholders.
3. Collaboration and Support:
  • Work closely with the project management and operations teams to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
  • Assist in developing budgets, schedules, and scopes of work for new opportunities.
  • Contribute to process improvements and best practices within the estimating and project management functions.
