Certis Solutions is seeking an Project Coordinator to join our industrial water/wastewater program team. This role supports industrial wastewater and drinking water programs. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, sampling, and reporting.
Must-Have Qualifications
5+ years of experience in industrial wastewater and drinking water programs.
Hands-on experience with water sample collection and regulatory compliance.
Knowledge of EPA chemical analytical methods and environmental regulations (federal, California state, and local).
Ability to troubleshoot wastewater and drinking water utility infrastructure.
Grade 2 Water Distribution Operator certification.
Strong technical and communication skills to navigate environmental standards.
Capability to lift up to 40 lbs. and assist in fieldwork as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and databases.
Self-sufficient work style with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
U.S. Citizenship required for site access.
Top Skills / Key Job Responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering, related discipline, or equivalent.
Collect and analyze wastewater and drinking water samples.
Prepare compliance reports for wastewater facilities and regulatory agencies.
Maintain and update permit applications in response to evolving regulations.
Conduct field investigations and sampling efforts, including stormwater monitoring.
Generate summary reports for surface water distribution regulations.

40-hour HAZWOPER certification.
