Certis Solutions is seeking a Professional Geologist or Environmental Engineer  to join their Northern California team. This full-time role involves managing environmental site assessments, investigations, and remediation projects. 

Must-Have Qualifications

• 5–15 years of experience in environmental consulting
• Professional Geologist (PG) or equivalent registration required
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (or 8-hour refresher)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

Top Skills/Key Job Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple environmental projects from proposal to final report
• Oversee site assessments, investigations, and remediation (petroleum, chlorinated hydrocarbons, PFAS, metals)
• Conduct quality control on technical reports, work plans, and assessments
• Coordinate drilling activities in diverse geologic settings
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and regulatory agencies
• Mentor junior staff and support professional development
