Description

Certis Solutions is seeking a qualified PRECONSTRUCTION MANAGER with the following background:


Overall responsibility for the preconstruction process from schematic design through estimating/operations handover. Strong estimating experience, Multi-family experience extremely helpful. Participates in design decisions, evaluations, cost studies, value engineering and analysis, scheduling, site logistics, constructability review, and more.


Must Have Qualifications


·        Degree in Construction Management, or related field and minimum 5 years’ experience as a Project Manager or equivalent role, in the construction industry

·        Solid knowledge and understanding of new construction, with a concentration in multi-family construction, from both a technical standpoint and from a project management standpoint.

·        High level of fluency reading plans, specifications, and related project documents

·        Technical Skills: On-Screen Take-Off, MS Office Suite, Bluebeam, Adobe, P6, Procore

·        Establish and maintain positive and effective relationships and communications with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, subcontractors, project team, et.al.

·        Manages financials, risk management, and client relations of assigned projects during preconstruction

·        Conduct team meetings, owner/architect meetings, and budget reviews

·        Job site visits to review existing conditions

·        Conceptual ability to work with minimum information and quickly develop an understanding of the owner/architect requirements with a demonstrated imaginative, innovative, and succinct approach to a project

·        Review all project documents for completeness and accuracy

·        Prepare take-off and budgets in collaboration with project estimators

·        Attend company and industry events including meetings, training, workshops, expos, etc.

·        Develop preconstruction schedule and monitor progress

·        Other related duties as assigned or needed
