Certis Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Designer/Engineer to contribute to HVAC and plumbing system designs for commercial projects. This role offers hands-on involvement from design through project completion, with a strong focus on sustainability, energy efficiency, and infrastructure planning.

Pay Range: $36 to $41 per hour

Must-Have Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC/plumbing engineering

• Design HVAC and plumbing systems for projects in healthcare, education, industrial, public, and retail sectors
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and facility owners on design and execution
• Contribute to project management, cost estimating, and quality control
• Assist in energy efficiency studies, infrastructure master planning, and central plant design
• Support the development of process piping and building automation systems

Preferences

• Experience with sustainable design and energy-efficient solutions
• Ability to work on complex infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with Revit MEP
