Must Have Qualifications

• 1-4+ years of experience as an Earthwork Technician
• Nuclear Gauge Certification preferred, not required
• ICC Soil Certifications (a plus, not required)
  • 47: Reinforced Concrete
  • 84: Structural Masonry
  • 92: Prestressed Concrete
  • 93: Tall Mass Timber Buildings
  • EC Soils
  • S1: Structural Steel Bolting
  • S2: Structural Welding

Top Skills / Key Job Responsibilities

• Perform testing of soils, foundations, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete.
• Supervise drilling operations and log soil borings.
• Prepare daily field reports using Microsoft programs.
• Perform hand augers and concrete cores to obtain subsurface information and soil samples.
• Observe and document various field activities related to the construction process, including foundation installation techniques including ground improvement and deep foundations.
• Read maps and interpret engineering and construction plans.
