Certis Solutions is seeking qualified CMT’s (Level II & III) with the following background in the Dallas, TX metro area:
Must-Have Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant Construction Materials Testing (CMT) experience or equivalent training.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with laptop computers and Microsoft Word and Excel.
Certifications:
ACI Certification: Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I or Concrete Strength Testing Technician.
Radiation Safety & Nuclear Density Gauge Operations: Certified.
Additional Certifications: Successful completion of related internal safety and technical certifications.
Licensing: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Top Skills & Key Responsibilities:
Hands-On Testing: Perform sample tests, observations, and inspections of soils, aggregates, concrete, masonry, reinforcing steel, and asphalt with precision.
Data Documentation: Document and prepare testing data using a laptop or tablet; submit findings accurately to the Project Manager.
Effective Communication: Clearly communicate testing and inspection results, ensuring all stakeholders are informed.
Growth & Development: Take on progressively increased responsibilities and training in your work assignments.
Equipment Mastery: Ensure all testing equipment and tools are calibrated and maintained to the highest standards.
Safety First: Follow stringent safety rules and practices for all projects. Perform pre-task planning and report any safety concerns to management.
Quality Assurance: Maintain top-quality standards on all projects.
Logistics: Safely transport materials from job sites to the lab using a company-provided pickup truck.
