Certis Solutions is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to support site construction projects across California and the West Coast region. This is a seasonal role with traveling assignments from April through October. Overtime will be required for these assignments and a truck will be provided.
Pay Range: $30-35/hr
Top Skills/Key Job Responsibilities
Perform CQA inspections and field testing for construction materials (earth fill, geosynthetics, and concrete) on projects including site grading, retention ponds, stormwater control, landfill liner systems, and landfill gas collection systems
Monitor compliance with project specifications and regulatory permits
Document field activities through daily reports and photo logs
Work independently or as part of a team to support construction oversight
Provide constructive feedback to contractors and subcontractors
Understand and interpret technical civil design drawings and specifications
Must-Have Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a pickup truck
Willingness to work overtime and travel for assignments (typically 3-6 months at a time)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work outdoors for extended hours in various conditions
