Certis Solutions is seeking Archaeologists to join and monitor levee repair projects in the northern Greater Sacramento area. This is a seasonal opportunity with work expected through November. 

Pay Range: $25-35/hr (Depending on Education and Experience), Overtime available

Must Have Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in archaeology, anthropology, or closely related field (Lead opportunities available for candidates with a Masters degree)
• At least 4 months of full-time supervised professional archaeological experience in North America. (one year of experience preferred)
• Ability to work 40-60 hours per week depending on project needs. 
• Demonstrated ability to complete National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) evaluations for cultural resources- Preferred

Top Skills / Key Job Responsibilities

• Field archaeologist responsible for construction monitoring; artifact and site identification

• Consulting with contractors including US Army Corps of Engineers and Native American tribe representatives as needed

• Osteology identification – human and non-human
